All Star Break
The Rangers lose 3 of 4 in Seattle, so they go into the All Star break at 48-39 and 1.5 games behind the Angels. It's somewhat dissappointing the Yankees couldn't win a game against the Angels this weekend despite LA missing Hunter and Guerrero, but if the Rangers took care of the Mariners in the 4 games they would still be in first. Young, Hamilton, and Cruz head out to St. Louis to represent the Rangers on Tuesday for the American League. The American League has not lost the All Star game since 1996. Next game: Minnesota Twins at Texas on Friday.
