The Rangers may be 9 games out of first place in the West, but they are only 5 games out of a wildcard playoff spot. At 52-48, the Rangers have had some surprising pitching as of late with Feldman winning his 3rd straight start and Padilla pitching 7 shutout innings allowing only 3 hits. I know they may still be a long shot, but at least they have a chance to make it into August in the hunt.
