Wright On

Jamey Wright has strung together a couple of good starts and a few W's as well. I never thought this guy had much going but he may prove me wrong. I would like to see him duplicate this against another team besides the A's. The A's look really bad, especially with runners in scoring position. The attendance at the game was listed at 18,160 but I have a hard time believing there was even 10,000 with as many empty seats shown on tv. We have now moved up on the league standings to tied with the Pittsburgh Pirates for 23rd out of 30 teams. Less than a month ago on 6/20 we had the absolute worst record. Teams in our rearview mirror now include the Devil Rays, Nationals, Reds, Astros, Royals, and Giants. Season Record: 40-52 and 15.5 games behind the Angels.Here is another classic Rangers logo. This was the Texas Rangers first logo when they moved from Washington to town in 1972 and continued through the 1980 season.
